Perimeter protection / protection against moving objects

    • Computational evaluation of the stability of fences, gates, bollards and obstacles against vehicle impact. Increased toughness through targeted optimization of energy absorption with limited deformation and reduction of overall weight by exploiting dynamic material hardening.

Vibrations or resonances can reduce the performance of machines and systems or even lead to mechanical damage. This can represent a considerable risk. We recommend investigating the following topics as early as possible in the development phase:

  • Seismic evaluation of machines. We provide our customers with proposals for reinforcement against horizontal loads and/or the displacement of natural frequencies. The calculation of seismic loads is usually carried out using spectrum analysis.
  • We carry out modal analyses and frequency response analyses (harmonic analysis) to determine natural frequencies and resonance effects.
  • Evaluation of the fatigue strength of oscillating structural parts.
