In cooperation with Karagozian & Case, California (USA), we offer engineering services for the protection and security of people and facilities. This begins with the analysis of threat scenarios through to the delivery of products such as explosion-proof windows or bollards.
- Design of housings or bursting chambers against pressure waves or projectiles.
- Behavior of components under explosion pressure – Verification of structural safety .
- Design of crash elements or shock-absorbing elements.
- Dynamic material tests to determine strain rate-dependent material characteristics, e.g. using split Hopkinson pressure and tension bars.
